Robert W. Woodruff Scholarship
Description

Awarded to applicant who demonstrates character, communication skills, intellectual and personal vigor, leadership and creativity in community or school, outstanding academic achievement, and potential for enriching lives. Nomination by school officials or Emory Admission Committee and interview are required.
Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of an Atlanta public school and be nominated by the principal. Awarded to applicant whose qualities of mind and spirit promise outstanding contributions to society. PROFILE is recommended.
Henry L. Bowden Scholarship
Description

Awarded to applicant with outstanding academic achievement, character, and leadership who will make significant contributions at school. Georgia residents are given priority. Other residents of the Southeast are considered. Nomination by school or Emory Admission Committee is required.
Charles and Anne Duncan Scholarship
Description

Applicant must be a student of outstanding merit and reside west of the Mississippi River. Priority is given to residents of Texas and the Southwest. Nomination by school or Emory Admission Committee is required.
Edward D. Smith Scholarship

Selection is based upon effective, unselfish service to others, outstanding academic achievement, and strong moral character. Priority is given to a graduate of the Westminster Schools in Atlanta. Nomination by school or Emory Admission Committee is required.
Pollard Turman Leadership Scholarship

Awarded to applicant with special leadership potential as demonstrated by sound academic achievement and commitment to excellence and service in civic, school, and other activities. Special consideration is given to residents of the Southeast. Nomination by school or Emory Admission Committee is required.
D. Abbott Turner Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of a Georgia secondary school, with preference given first to graduates of Brookstone School in Columbus and then to natives of the Chattahoochee Valley. Selection is based upon achievement, character, and service. Nomination by school or Emory Admission Committee is required.
Chris A. Yannopoulos Scholarship

Applicant must have interest in classical studies or represent strengths brought to the U.S. by immigrants. Nomination by school or Emory Admission Committee is required.
