Syd Garner Scholarship

Description

Applicant must have a minimum 2.7 GPA and demonstrate academic excellence. Preference given to candidates who are employees or the child of an employee of Lake County Government with five or more years of service.

Ray and Josephine Thomas Scholarship

Selection is based upon academic achievement, career goals, and potential for college success.

ALTRUSA Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a resident of Jasper, Lake, LaPorte, Newton, Porter, Pulaski, or Starke counties, Indiana, and have a minimum 2.7 GPA. Preference is given to women. Selection is based upon academic achievement and potential for college success.

Presidential Scholarship

Description

Applicant must have a minimum "B+" grade average, minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150 or composite ACT score of 25, and rank in the top 25 percent of graduating class. Selection is based upon academic merit. Awarded to the most academically talented students in the incoming freshmen class.

ARRUPE Scholars Award

Description

Applicant must demonstrate a strong commitment to community service and social justice issues. Applicant is required to be involved in and engage in the campus community, perform community service, and participate in designated course work.

Leadership Scholars Award

Description

Applicant must have expressed and/or exhibited an interest and capacity for developing their leadership capabilities.

Ignation Award

Description

Applicant must strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to service.
