Applicant must be an entering full-time undergraduate. Awards are competitive, based on high school GPA and entrance exam for freshmen and college GPA for transfers.
Dean's Scholars Award

Talent/Service Award
Description

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate who has demonstrated talent and skill in one of the following areas: art, dance, theatre, film/TV, oral communications, music, creative writing. Selection is based upon GPA, performance criteria (audition, portfolio), and recommendation from faculty.
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Award

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate, a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and be nominated by a minister. FAFSA required.
Children of Chapman Award
Description

Applicant must be the child of one who holds an undergraduate or graduate degree from Chapman University.
Chapman Grant
Description

Applicant must be a full-time student. Selection is based upon financial need and application for admission. FAFSA required.
Christian Worker Dependent Discount
Description

Applicant must be the dependent of a full-time Christian worker involved in non-profit ministry as a missionary, pastor, or Christian school teacher/administrator. Must demonstrate need.
Foster Scholarship
Description

Applicant must plan to attend Cincinnati Christian University as a new, full-time, undergraduate student who is able to demonstrate scholarship achievement, Christian character, and leadership ability. Minimum 3.8 high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and minimum composite ACT score of 30 ACT (combined SAT Reasoning score of 2010). Applicants will be invited to interview with the Foster Scholarship Committee.
Clara and Arleigh B. Williamson Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of a Staten Island high school, be enrolled full time, have a minimum 3.5 GPA, and be involved in community/school service. Transcript and two letters of recommendation from teachers are required. Financial need is not a major consideration.
